A friendly ghost and a visitor’s daughter find a connection inside a haunted mansion.
Casper haunts a Maine mansion where a specialist arrives with his daughter, Kat. Their meeting gives this ghost story a tender center beneath the supernatural commotion.
This is a useful companion to a louder ghost comedy when you want to talk about what haunting means: a fright, a joke, or a way of holding on. The story includes loss and grief, so “friendly ghost” does not mean every moment is light.
