Love the old movies; how about some Charlie Chan movies, & The bowery boys, great old time ones. Thanks
I suggest classic horror weekends devoted to particular monsters — there were five weekends this year, 2022, to cover all the films for one each: Dracula, Frankenstein, Wolfman, Mummy, then a mix of Phantom of the Opera, Creature from the Black Lagoon, and Invisible Man films. This means that one could see Nosferatu (both 1922 and 1979 versions), Dracula (1931), Son of Dracula, Dracula’s Daughter, House of Dracula, The Brides of Dracula, et al.
It seems the old classic “The Wolf Man” with Lon Cheney Jr. has been given the heave-ho this Halloween season. Why? And what of “Dracula” with Frank Langella? Or one of the scariest movies of them all — “Don’t Look Now” which is unsettling to say the least. I would think all these movies would be considered the sort of Halloween Classics that TCM would be sure to feature. Trick or Treat — more trick than treat this year.
They look to save all our VERY CLASSIC 1930s-40s Halloween Movies till Halloween !! The ones they have been showing on Monday Nights ARE NOT the ones many of us want to see !! Been disappointed with their October Halloween Line-Up for last 2 years. We are going to voice this too to TCM directly if possible.
Why are Rasputin The Mad Monk and The Devil’s Bride blocked on Sling? These are two I was looking forward to the most this year! 🙁
Is this wrong? It has way more if you search by “horror”:

This 2022 schedule by TCM is one of the smallest and worst in years. It’s doesn’t like there are any good theme nights like they normally on Fridays or Sundays.
This is the first schedule since Discovery took control of TCM and it looks like cost-cutting has had an impact in licensing.
I agree. I so look forward to October and watching all the oldies but goodies. I am very disappointed by 2022 October schedule. Putting most on in the middle of the night. Boo. Where is Vincent Price, Christopher Lee, Peter Cushing, The Mummy (original), Cat People, Banshee, any Edgar Allan Poe, the Werewolf, etc etc. Shame on TCM!
I agree. I’m heartbroken. I look to tcm to show the old black n whites that were from the 30s. Who is making these decisions and why omit the gems. Viewers of all ages and races appreciat3 those classics.
The Fog and the Howling are on the 10th
I love TCM! I can’t tell you how excited I am to see what TCM has in store for us for 2022. Please play all of the greats with actors like Bela Lugosi, Boris Karloff, Dwight Frye, Peter Lorre, Fay Wray and Lionel Atwill…
TCM has always been my favorite channel but you miss putting the big monster movies, when I was a kid, I loved those shows, dinosaurs, giant spiders, scorpions, my wife enjoy this time of year and anticipate your movies, need to show the younger generation, that the early days had movies as good a Michael Myers.
Why is there no star of the month for October? No monster of the month?
Star of the Month is Lucille Ball
TCM needs to have 31 days of Halloween instead of just a three day Halloween Marathon 10/29- 10/31
yes the good old movies are @ 2am! come on! we that appreciate the best horror movies from 20-40 years ago cannot stay up that late!
Just so you know check out Tubi they do have some of the old good stuff.
Looks like TCM has more variety than AMC FearFest
Yeah it’s been like that for every October. I can’t stand watching the same horror titles every year. So I switch over to TCM.
Where’s the Fog!!!!????
Movies! Channel is an over the air channel and cable channel. I actually looked too see if they had an app to stream but sadly they do not.
TCM has specific movies available on HBO Max!
I know COX cable in Las Vegas carries it, but you are correct I don’t know of any streaming services that carry it. It can probably be found using a cheap ($20 or so) indoor leaf antenna most places.
What happened to The Wolfman with Lon Chaney and Bride of Frankenstein? They seem to be missing from your lineup about every other year. Why?
All of those are on Peacock
I want some Vincent Price for Halloween/October PLEASE🎃

Discovery took over TCM what a disgrace
Now that’s a lineup!
Wow, this really is more like it. I don’t know what’s happened to TCM’s Halloween spirit over the last few years but the lineup has definitely been disappointing.
Discovery took over TCM what a disgrace
What is “Movies! channel” ? Do you mean The Movie Channel (TMC)?
Need to see
Ghost Breakers 1940 Bob Hope
The House of Seven Gables 1940 Vincent Price
The Spiral Staircase 1946 Dorothy McGuire
No it is a channel like MeTV, Retro, Decades that is mostly a free over the air channel with a channel number of the parent channel point something (example here in Las Vegas is channel 8.3 with channel being the local CBS station. It is not a pay channel. The name of the channel is Movies!
Why are the horror movies shown mostly during the day until the lat week of October? Some of us work during the day, and isn’t horror more appropriate for the evening anyway?
I know that Turner classic movies is the best place to find old movies love this channel but on Halloween the line up should be all universal Horror movies from Frankenstein all the way to the mummy please make this a universal horror Halloween
They should show Browning’s The Devil-Doll 1936. Imo a great film around Halloween time!
Love these BUT you need to add Comet tvs schedule for October too
If you search the TCM site listings by vowel, you can piece together the full month of October – it is missing a few time slots, notably on Halloween night (which I hope they air a combo of Dracula, Frankenstein, and The Wolf Man for their 90th/80th anniversaries) but the majority of the schedule is available…

Honoring Peter Cushing was great idea. But how can you not show DR. Terrors house of horrors? Classic fantastic move that TCM didn’t air in years.
