What is FearFest? In 1997, the AMC network launched Monsterfest, a popular week-long marathon of horror movies and thrillers that aired in late October. On September 26, 2008, AMC announced the launch of a new horror-themed movie marathon for its October schedule called “Fearfest” which replaced Monsterfest.  Fear Fest typically runs from mid-October every year until Halloween (often the day after too) and in recent years has run throughout the entire month of October. In 2023 AMC ran a “Kickoff to FearFest” that began on September 25th.

Hello, I still enjoy all the classic movies, especially the Halloween ones. I would like for next year to show all the classic 80s movies on Friday the 13th from the first one onwards. It is a key movie for the October fear fest, thanks from PR.💪👍✌

Great to see the classic 70s/80s horror movies. Unfortunately movies such as The Conjuring, The Nun, Annabelle aren’t being shown…next year hopefully?

Where are the classic Friday the 13th from the 80’s? This is a must for any Halloween lineup.

    • Kourtney Clark

Hello, greetings from PR. I have constructive criticism, don’t take it the wrong way. But today is Friday the 13th and they didn’t show the classic movies, the first ones from the 80s like the first and second parts and all the sagas. It would have been epic to see all the Friday the 13th sagas but nothing for the next one, write down that data. Thank you and I continue enjoying fear fest 2023.
