What is 31 Nights of Halloween? 31 Nights of Halloween (formerly 13 Days of Halloween and later changed to 13 Nights of Halloween) is a seasonal programming block on the Freeform channel. It originally began in 1998 after the Family Channel became Fox Family and was continued through the channel’s change into ABC Family, and eventually Freeform. Movies ran from October 19th until Halloween night, covering the thirteen days before the holiday. Starting in 2018, 13 Nights became 31 Nights airing Halloween themed movies and specials throughout the entire month of October.

Halloween town and Casper and
Freeform and ABC have lost tons of viewers by not playing the Halloween movies from yesteryear. Guess they don’t care about ratings.
It would be nice if Freeform would play Sleepy Hollow, the original Halloween. You’ll lose a lot of viewers if those kind of movies don’t come back.
For 2022 on Freeform and their 31 Nights of Halloween, I think they should be creative and make a scary theme or category for every night. For example: On the first night since they often play ‘Hocus Pocus’ why not make October 1st a night called Witches Brew, which would consist of Twitches 1 & 2, Halloweentown 1-4, The Craft, and it could be a Freeform Premire…The Craft: Legacy. On that same night, play ‘The Witches of Eastwick’ and Hocus Pocus. Then on October 2nd, maybe make it a monsters night. Just an idea to keep things fun for the whole family. Freeform wouldn’t repeat a lot of movies, and everyone would get to see what they like. I think theme nights for 31 Nights of Halloween would be cool!
What about the original worst witch like that was really good the very original one why don’t they ever play that anymore? They play a lot of good ones yes but they also do a lot of repeats of ones when instead of repeating them all the time play some other ones
I think they should also put on the bugs bunny halloween and i think garfield had a halloween show also and rankin bass monster mash too they shold do aclassic shows
I can only hope you are joking with this response, but in case you’re not — none of those are Disney properties. They don’t have the rights to them. They are also infantile shows that would not appeal to the larger demographic Freeform was designed to encompass.
The selection is horrible! Why don’t you listen to your viewers but that’s why I have a channel button. So repetitive and so boring it’s not to late to make some programming changes. Or let your sponsors spend money on a channel nobody’s watching.??????????
BORiNG as expected………
So disappointed
Ghostbusters is hardly airing and it’s mostly the first movie but not the 2nd ghostbusters
They replaced the good movies for crap like malaficent and boring stuff like that and calling this the best year yet
Like yeah right
2020 is far more exciting than this
Why does everything we love gotta go
Nothing we enjoy can last
Some moron working the stuff always has to ruin it
Same boring movies every year with less and less variety. I remember when ABC Family/Freeform would air specials like the movie “The Hollow” (2004) and it was fun. I doubt I’ll even tune in to this mediocre garbage. The one constant in life is that everything gets worse.
2018 2019 and 2020 were incredible
Why does 2021 only have like 4 Halloween films being played but everything else isn’t
Most days nothing Halloween is even playing
I can’t believe I waited months for this schedule Just to see this BS
what about the haunted mansion
what about halloween high
Why doesn’t Freeform play any of the good old Halloween movies like “The Little vampire” the whole sirese of “Halloween Town” (there is 4 movies). “Moms got a date with a Vampire.” You repeat a lot of movies which is great if you miss something but 80% of the people that have cable have a way to record it on a Joeye or something. I really miss the old shows and watching them with my younger family members.
Also FreeForm does the same thing with their Christmas movies and all the old ones get washed away and now the shitty new versions are being played. Play the classics people
Because of Covid (and not having a FreeForm Halloween live show this year), can you find some time to re-air the 2018 Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary show in 2020?
Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash
It was a spectacular show, and worth watching again. Thank you.
Can you make chismas moves in November
You can visit our other website for the Christmas schedules:
https://www.countdownuntilchristmas.com/abc-family-countdown-to-25-days-of-christmas-schedule/
Why do you replay movies like moana this is not a Halloween movie why don’t you play little Vampire The Halloween Ernest movie Screen team Double Trouble Halloween pups Movies like this vampire dog stuff that has Halloween in it instead of plain hocus pocus 37 times in one day Tri plane other Halloween movies like the r.l Stein moviesThe house of Doom is the only when you play play them all
Stick to Halloween themed movies for Halloween….is it that hard. Lot of good ones missing this year. It does get worse every year. AND STOP WITH SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO MUCH HOCUS POCUS
This Hocus Pocus thing is getting out of hand. They couldn’t put one showing of Earnest Scared Stupid or Witches? There are other great scary kids movies out there.
Of you put anything on for the 31 nights of Halloween it would be nice to see Casper a spirit beginning along with Casper meets Wendy James and the giant peach, double double toil and trouble, caroline, haunted mansion, the little vampire and other good Halloween shows just don’t repeat them over and over it is getting pretty boring and annoying please and thank you
I agree I am going to skip this lineup Hocus Pocus overload. As for the Simpsons I have the FXNOW app so I can watch the Simpsons whenever I want.
WERE IS HALLOWEEN TOWN IM SUEINGG🤬🎃
On Disney channel on demand. I just watched it last night
That usually shown on Disney Channel not Freeform.
