Disney Channel Monstober
What is Monstober? Monstober (previously named Disney Channel’s Hauntober Fest and later called Wiz-tober in 2008) was a nightly marathon of Halloween-related movies that debuted on October 1, 2005 on Disney Channel. In 2012, Wiz-tober was renamed Monstober to prepare for the Girl Vs. Monster premiere. Monstober officially ended after October 2016. Beginning in 2021, Disney Channel ran the “Calling All the Monsters” programming block during October, featuring various Halloween-themed TV specials and original movies. It is rumored that the Disney Channel will be re-launching the Monstober programming event in October 2024.

Did you hear the news? Since 2017, I’ve been disappointed, I was a 10 year old boy who was so upset I couldn’t live at least one Monstober because they started in 2011 and ended in 2016, so my generation didn’t really get to experience that legendary era of Disney Channel. For years, I’d view THIS website every Halloween (2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023) and I’d look for Monstober’s return, but when that didn’t happen I’d look for Monstober movies at least to be enough, and that was decent until the 2020s when nearly every Monstober movie was scrapped. They did do some things that felt like Monstober or its return, like Halloweentown airing on May 1, 2021 or the lead up to the Under Wraps premiere and the remastered calling all the monsters song with it being the branding for 3 years, but it just wasn’t it. From Halloweentown 1 & 2 airing in 2022, to all 4 in 2023, Monstober was slowly creeping upon us, but now a new chapter opens in 2024, MONSTOBER IS OFFICIALLY BACK. According to DisneyNOW, Monstober is BACK and it has a new logo but it still remains similar to what it once was. There is a whole list of Monstober movies and episodes on DisneyNOW that truly makes it feel like old times. It took 8 years, bu they finally did it. Now, the anticipation awaits us to see if Disney Channel will air movies like Halloweentown, Girl vs. Monster, Under Wraps, Twitches and so on. Welcome back, Monstober. The wait was so worth it.
I hope we get Twitches 1 and 2 , Halloweentown 1 and 2, Girl VS. Monster, Hocus Pocus 1 and 2, and The Scream Team happen in 2024!!! I am a 90’s kid and still love these movies to the core!
i do love diseny channel with cool new movies coming but i don’t l like big city greens don’t worry about what i i do like some other tv shows like disny jeese and kim possbile life with dreak and ant farm phil of the future cory in the house

There is supposedly a HALLOWEENTOWN marathon on Disney Channel Halloween Day from 1:00 PM to 12:00 AM. This is the first time Halloweentown 3 & 4 will air on the channel since Oct 31, 2019… which also happened to be a marathon of all 4 movies.
So amazing to see Monstober vibes back on the channel, I started to lose hope back in 2020 when they only aired Halloweentown once and it was at the very end of October.
Can’t wait to see if in the future of this October they air Twitches and Girl Vs. Monster.

Yes everybody, the moment you’ve been waiting for, Fa-La-La-Lidays will make a BIG return this year starting Fri, Nov 25 🎅🎅 the title and 2015 logo is making a return for this year. I’m so freaking excited and grateful, blessed. Disney thank you so much for this!!! You finally heard your fans and we all couldn’t be happier. I’m so excited to see the 2022 Fa-La-La-Lidays on-screen logo and bumpers. The holiday fun continues.. 🙏😁

No ZOMBIES 1 or 2 this year on Disney Channel. Descendants 1-3 are surprisingly not being aired this Halloween on Disney Channel either.
Oct 24-28 are no movies on Disney Channel.
Oct 29 – The Haunted Mansion (2003) on Disney Channel at 8p. ZOMBIES 3 at 8p on Oct 30 followed by Muppets Haunted Mansion (2021) and Halloween Day is officially here!!
Spookley The Square Pumpkin will be aired early in the morning. SPOOKIZ The Movie will be aired at around 1pm followed by The Owl House after that. Around 3 or 4pm is Growing Fangs (2021) and then Toy Story of Terror at 5pm. Under Wraps (2021) and Under Wraps 2 (2022) begin at 5:25pm or 5:45pm or around there and continue till 9pm. Frankenweenie (2012) is at 9pm and continues to 10:30pm. 10:30-12:00am is 3 Halloween episodes (Ravens Home – Villains of Valley View- Ultra Violet). This Halloween lineup is very good and I’m happy Monstober is back! FYI: A Halloweentown 5 rumor has spilled and it could possibly release in 2023. More info coming in my next comment!
