Disney Channel Monstober
What is Monstober? Monstober (previously named Disney Channel’s Hauntober Fest and later called Wiz-tober in 2008) was a nightly marathon of Halloween-related movies that debuted on October 1, 2005 on Disney Channel. In 2012, Wiz-tober was renamed Monstober to get ready for the Girl Vs. Monster premiere. Monstober officially ended after October 2016. Since 2021, Disney Channel has ran the “Calling All the Monsters” programming block during the month of October featuring various Halloween themed TV specials and original movies.

To the person who makes these schedules, remember last year I told you that I had a dream where Disney Channel would play The Haunted Mansion and The Nightmare Before Christmas?
Well they never aired Haunted Mansion last year on Oct 31 but they are playing it this year on OCT 29 at 8pm.
FYI: Muppets Haunted Mansion (2021) will have a Cable TV premiere on Disney Channel OCT 22 at 8pm. ZOMBIES 3 will have the Lost-Song version premiere At 7pm on Oct 30th and another rerun of Muppets Haunted Mansion comes after that.

Unbelievable! Disney wants an additional 1 billion dollars from DISH Network to renew the contract they have between the companies. Since they are unable to come to an agreement most of the Disney owned companies have been taken off the air. Guess what that means? No Halloween movies, GREAT! I had The Witches and The Haunted Mansion ready to record on Freeform this morning, instead a DISH employee is announcing that Disney wants an additional 1 billion so that Dish can pass that price increase on to the consumer. Disney also owns ABC but for some reason it’s airing on DISH right now, although it should be taken down. I’m so disappointed in Disney.
Same on-screen logo for Disney Channel this year, but I loved it from last year and I’m happy it’s back.
The bumpers are very nice but they got rid of China McClain saying “Calling All The Monsters” and I’m kinda sad 😔 the music in the background is gone too and it’s so depressing because I was so excited for it to be back since the title “calling all the monsters” was announced to be back 2 weeks ago. Besides all that, I’m very happy for this logo and the theme is nice. Pretty boring that all they say it “we’ll be right back to the show” why can’t they add more like they did before. Example: “Spooktacular, we’re back to the show on Disney channel”
Hmm… maybe more will be added Saturday. It’s not even October yet.
What’s coming this ‘Calling All The Monsters’ to Disney Channel.
Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride, Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, Tim Burton’s Frankenweenie. Looks like Disney is following a Tim Burton marathon all October and each one is likely premiering on Sunday’s starting on Oct 9 starting with corpse bride, Nightmare before Christmas and then Frankenweenie.
More things included are Halloweentown 1 & 2. Hotel Transylvania 1-3. Under Wraps 1 &2. And More movies possibly included. Catch ‘The Worst Witch’ weekdays at 4PM.

Next week on DISNEY CHANNEL is called “calling all the monsters movie week” with reruns of Halloweentown 1 & 2 and Hotel Transylvania 1-3. It was announced today that Tim Burton’s Corpse Bride will air on Disney Channel Sun, Oct 9 at 7:00pm. The Worst Witch season four premiere is Fri, Oct 21 at 4:30pm – the season finale is Mon, Oct 31 at 4:00pm 2-part finale.
Spookiz (A short film) will debut on Disney Channel Wed, Oct 19 at 1:00pm. Zombies 3 Alien Stories will premiere on Disney Channel Sun, Oct 30 at 7:00pm. FYI: Toy Story of TERROR will air continuously throughout October on DISNEY XD. ZOMBIE-Thon will premiere Oct 17 on Disney XD. The Corpse Bride will be aired frequently on Disney XD including (Oct 2, 3 & 16) more to be included soon! 🎃 THIS HALLOWEEN IS SO AWESOME FOR DISNEY. Disney is being SO amazing this Halloween 😭 I Never thought in a million years that Monstober would return and Halloween Movies would be back on Disney Channel.
For anybody who doesn’t know, Halloweentown (1998) will be on Disney Channel Thursday, September 29 at 8:00pm and Halloweentown ll: Kalabar’s Revenge will air Friday, September 30 at 8:00pm 😁🎃 all of this is happening in September, what will October bring?? And why is this happening? They haven’t aired Halloweentown (1998) since May 1, 2021. And Halloweentown 2 was last aired Oct 31, 2019.

Disney Channel starts at 1:00pm with Halloween episodes of Bunk’d JESSIE RAVENS HOME Big City Greens The Ghost and Molly McGee miraculous and Disney Hall of Villains.
Disney XD begins at 12pm with Halloween episodes of Gravity Falls, Big City Greens, Amphibia, DuckTales and Phineas and Ferb.
FYI: Hocus Pocus will air at 7:45pm on Freeform.
Chucky (2021) series marathon starting at 8:00am on SyFy.
