A note from Vincentia

The studio light is on. Come in; there is something here you almost remember.

Vincentia, HMOT’s copper-haired illustrated host, resting her chin on her hand.

Welcome back to Halloween Movies on TV. I’m Vincentia, your fictional host at the station. I keep company with familiar movies, peculiar television memories, and the small things that make October feel like somewhere you can visit.

The archive has a real history. Its recovered records reach back to 2012; in 2026, HMOT is giving those titles and broadcasts a new home. We are opening the shelves a little at a time, keeping the dates attached and leaving room for corrections.

Start with a title you know. Then look at what was listed beside it on a Halloween night years ago. Follow one memory into another. You do not have to know the obscure reference, own the rare tape, or remember the channel correctly to belong here.

There will be letters, too: an archive discovery, a movie to consider, and an occasional treat. For now, the light is on and the door is open. Because every day is Halloween.
