  • When will 2017 SyFy’s Halloween list be available? It starts Sunday…yeah!!

I have been trying to find the SyFy Original movie “The House” — which I LOVED — but can’t find it being replayed AT ALL. It was a good movie!!

I do wish the 31 Days of Halloween schedule were released earlier. I start getting excited in August! And then I’m disappointed when it’s the same movies over and over… I would love to see Stepford Wives and Rosemary’s Baby as well. Just sayin’.

I agree with the negative remarks.
SyFy has mutated into the WORST scifi product I have ever seen.
The movies are ROTTEN and I would rather see the scfi/horror movies of the 50’s & 60’s.

  • I would think a marathon of all the “Halloween” movies would at least be played on Halloween! I agree with the blood and guts – enough. Where is The Haunting, Legend of Hell House, no spooky movies here!

REALLY disappointed that Stephen King’s ROSE RED IS NOT BEING SHOWN. ONE OF THE ALL TIME BEST GHOST
    SCARY MOVIES.

I totally agree. Rose Red is one of the best movies but it is because it is not all about blood. Today it seems that if it is not bloody and gory it is not considered a good movie. I totally agree with you on this one. I love this movie but it will not be shown.

Syfy has gotten ridiculous about their shows. They show movies on the weekend and then beat it to death with the same shows all week over and over again. You would think that the kind of money syfy gets from their commercials ( Which are on all the time) that they should be able to show different movies on the weekend as well as thru the week. Halloween is not only about current movies but old ones as well. Halloween is about scary and not about gory. It seems that if everyone and everything is not covered in blood you don’t consider it to be a good movie. This is, I am sorry to say, one persons opinion. I wish more people would rather have scary then bloody.

    • I agree, I wish movies were more like scary. Like when Sammy Terry was on.

Sammy Terry spooked me big time as a kid. That face, the opening coffin…that voice!

The guy that played Sammy Terry passed away last year I think. His son has taken over and is now playing Sammy..

I’m with you! I’m sick of sickening movies: blood and gore for its own sake is disgusting, boring, and not scary. It also illustrates, in my opinion, a lack of talent in the film maker. Syfy is mostly slag. For more scares, atmosphere, and plot, try TCM.

    • I agree SYFY channel 31 days of Halloween truly sucks now. When Syfy was at it’s best was in the 90’s like USA network both are own by the same person ( Comcast/ Universal. I can remember you could rely on Syfy or Usa Network showing good horror marathons for Halloween. Maybe it’s just me but I hate horror movie marathons today. I dont want to see gore, or ghosts or haunted this or that. I want those old 80’s slasher films, some good hammer movies, universal monsters, or even Godzilla flicks. The programming that these networks gives us for Halloween is terrible! We do have Amc, TCM, Encore, and even The Movie Channel which is trying so hard to keep it going but for how long?

      • Hammer, Universal Monsters and Godzilla!! I agree!!

      • u all dont know whatthe hell ur talking about, syfy is better now than ever. outside of Jeepers Creepers3, their OWN Halloween movies were the new, innovative, best, every year as far as NEW different, campfire, halloween movies. oh, duh only Stan Lee produced The Sandman. Who is he,?? Watch their own TRuthmovies every Saturday night, before u judge, also if that is not good enough for u!!!, which The Hallow, The Stickman, Sandman, Truth r Dare, Neverknock..are all unique, well acted and different movies. The oldr movies are not the best of 31days on syfy, No end house is the besthorror show ever, hands down, Rotton Tomatoes, Stranger Things, AHS,league, by far u idiots. no end house smoked AHS!!!!

    • I totally agree! I lived in Germany and the Syfy channel there showed star gate, Star Trek and some other tv series over and over. I could not wait to come back to the states. Boy was I disappointed! What happened to all the great B-movies? Why are they showing CSI? I thought the 31 days of Halloween would be better but they are showing the same old main stream movies that is not sci-fic over and over. Syfy please go back to your original mission.

    • I agree with you one hundred percent. How about “From Dusk till Dawn”, The original “Blob” with Steve McQueen. I about movies in black and white that make you jump and never show blood or the monster?
