  • SHAME, SHAME, SHAME on the people who made this decision. I am 62 years old, have watched it every year when I was young, with my kids, and was hoping to watch with my grand-kids and you have taken this away. What a pathetic move just for more money!! Many homes don’t have the internet, especially in rural areas like us, to even stream this and now you have taken this holiday staple away!! You people are so sad!!

Sad news. The Charlie Brown specials have become a staple in my families holiday season. We look forward to the shows every year. I grew up on the shows in the 80’s and have been sharing the experience with my children. My 12 and 10 yr old we’re looking g forward to our popcorn night watching The Great Pumpkin. I guess everything changes, I was just hoping this tradition never would. For whatever reason, popping in a DVD or streaming the show doesn’t have the same nostalgia. This may be the first step towards forgetting the gifts Charles Schultz created for us to enjoy. And the merry go round keeps turning.

I don’t think I could agree w/u more!!! It was hard enough dealing with families being so distant during this COVID crap & having gatherings via video phone but now we can’t even enjoy that due to the fact that we can’t afford the internet. Things are being taken away from us one by one.,….& Y would they ‘air’ these shows a month b for the actual month that the holiday is n?? That makes no sense, I remember watching Halloween cartoons on Halloween nite after trick or treating as well as Xmas ones on Xmas Eve ect. Wut ever happen to that??? Wow u tv people really suck!!

      • It’s nor ABC’s fault. The fault is whomever is in charge of Peanuts. They went for the money Apple shelled out, instead of allowing CBS, NBC or even PBS from airing it.
I guess, whomever is in charge of Peanuts, they don’t care about poor kids.
